PHYSICAL CONTACT, AFFECTION: yes. while reserved, he is a fairly physical person in the right conditions.
PHYSICAL CONTACT, VIOLENCE: yes. he's been training since he was a child in magical combat and is thought of as one of the most powerful in his lineage. he won't often pick a fight but he'll engage if provoked or needed.
ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS/INTIMACY: oocly, i'm down for ships with the caveat that actual romance is unlikely and most relationships will be one-sided at their core despite his natural lean towards intimacy. subaru's driving characteristic is that he treats everyone as if they're special to him, which means that no one is special to him. he has also come to equate violence with intimacy oops. if conflict and unrequited pining is your jam, let's talk.

DEATH: willing to play around with it oocly, icly he hovers between wishing to die by means that are no longer possible and living as the last piece of the person he loved. sexy.
PSYCHIC/PSIONIC INFORMATION: he is deeply selfless, troubled, lonely, and obsessed to the point of self-destruction. he has mental wounds that he will never let heal and while he wouldn't be appreciative of prying, he also wouldn't conceal any of it. he is, unfortunately for him at times, very self aware.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: he is the current standing most powerful onmyouji in his japan. (he was second behind the sakurazukamori before, you know.) for those magically-aware characters, they're free to sense that he has a pretty powerful aura in terms of raw energy but his spirituality is damaged. characters may also sense that he has been marked by magical means for assassination.

VISUAL — BUILD, HAIR, EYES: short, slender, graceful. nice shoulders. defined body structure, but not overly so. he often tries to come across as more rigid than he naturally is. thick black hair without much shine to it, cropped close at the neck and long over his brow and temples. boyishly swept around, but not unkempt. lithe neck, strong brows, sharp eyes. right eye milky white from being blinded, left eye green. pretty without being too feminine, handsome without being too masculine. overall good-looking. characters in x never shut up about it.
VISUAL — SKIN, HANDS, SCARS: pale skin, smooth on a first look but harboring many equally pale and faded scars. softer than he looks, especially his hands due to concealing them for so much of his youth. his hands are dexterous and elegant; oval-shaped palms, long and tapered fingers. he uses magic to cloak the two most prominent scars on his body: upside down pentacles that were carved into the tops of his hands as a child as a mark for assassination.
