He lives in Chelsea in a former bed & breakfast with a bright red door. At its front is a modest porch hemmed with an iron gate and a short flight of stairs up to the entrance. Out back is a small courtyard with a high fence and stone seating running its length. Equipped with two bedrooms, a wall of dilapidated books, and a tiny kitchen in which blood rituals have already occurred, it's constantly under surveillance by his runic birds. It's also constantly full of visitors. Stop by and you may find Sakurazuka Seishirou, Shirou Kamui, Fushiguro Megumi, Caelus (and his cat homunculus, Anko), one of Kim Soleum's shadowlings, or Agent Choi (especially during full moons) there. He frequents the nearby park. In an adjacent lot there is a repurposed trailer given to him by Caelus which serves as his area of magic study and practice. It has its own bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom, plus lighting and a fire pit outside.
Generally, he's a neutral boots and coats kind of person, but based on the availability of clothing, he's reverted to the look of some of his older fits in game: 1. 2. 3. His hair is also growing out to be less blunted because he can't be bothered to cut it: 1. He's underweight and blind in his right eye. On the tops of both of hands are inverted pentagram scars which he conceals.
His hands are his weapons of choice. His are oval-shaped with long, graceful fingers. His skin is softer than it looks from years of concealment. When his magic is not in use, the tips of his fingers up to the second knuckle are a faded grey. When casting, his fingers turn ink black. As his magic strengthens, the inkiness ascends to coat his hands, wrists, and forearms.
His scent is that of smoky paper, cedar incense, and black tea.
Other info: he keeps odd hours and doesn't sleep or eat regularly. He avoids too much meat and sugar, within reason for the resources. He showers cold. He will lie about his birthdate and birthplace, claiming them as 02/14 and Tokyo, respectively. In the absence of good paper, he's made use of post-it notes for talismans: 1. 2. Agent Choi has moved half of his stuff into his apartment, so you'll find his clothes and everyday items (plus rogue tiger fur) in the bedroom, closet, and bathroom.

A cloth mask more like a veil, embellished with the four eyes of the housoushi, a folklore minister turned priest turned god turned demon. It can see in all directions and punishes all evil that it sees.
